For more than 50 years, the Alamance County Recreation and Parks Department (Alamance Parks) has worked to improve the quality of life of Alamance County residents. Great Bend Park at Glencoe is part of the Haw River Trail/Mountains-to-Sea Trail and features 30 wooded acres along the Haw River with hiking trails, fishing areas, Picnicking, paddle access points.
