Safety Town Mebane is a fun and interactive summer program designed to help children learn important safety skills before entering kindergarten. Hosted by the Mebane Woman's Club, this free community program gives children the opportunity to explore real-world safety situations in an engaging, hands-on environment.
Throughout the week, campers will meet community helpers, participate in interactive activities, and learn valuable lessons about:
• Pedestrian safety
• Fire safety
• Water safety
• School bus safety
• Home safety
• Emergency preparedness
Safety Town combines learning and fun while helping children build confidence and awareness in everyday situations. The program is made possible through partnerships with local first responders, professionals, volunteers, and community organizations committed to keeping children safe.
