Looking for a meaningful (and FREE!) summer experience for your kids? Kid’s Summer Serve in Mebane is a unique 3-day program designed to teach children about giving back, community, and helping others—all while having fun!
This special event introduces kids to local non-profits and the important work they do, with hands-on activities that help children understand the value of service.
What Kids Will Do:
- Learn about local nonprofits and community helpers
- Participate in hands-on service projects
- Enjoy arts, crafts, and creative activities
- Sing, play, and connect with other kids
- Kick things off with a fun pizza party!
Event Schedule:
- Wednesday, August 6: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Pizza Party Kickoff)
- Thursday, August 7: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Drop-off at 8:30 AM)
- Friday, August 8: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Drop-off at 8:30 AM)

Ages:
- Children ages 3 through 5th grade
- Middle & high school students may participate as volunteers
