Looking for a classic, outdoor summer camp experience near Burlington or the Triad? Strouds Creek Farm Summer Camp offers a fun-filled, nature-based program where kids can unplug, explore, and just be kids.
With a small group size of only 20 children per week, this camp creates a welcoming, play-based environment that feels more like a week with friends than a traditional structured camp.
Days are designed with a balance of guided activities and free play, allowing kids to explore, create, and enjoy the outdoors at their own pace.
Camp Activities Include:
🐴 Feeding and caring for farm animals (horses, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits)
🥚 Collecting eggs and learning farm routines
🌊 Creek stomping and nature exploration
🏊 Swimming pool time (twice daily for full-day campers)
🎨 Crafts and creative play
🛝 Playground fun (swings, tire swings, monkey bars, balance beams & more)
🎲 Classic games (hide & seek, sack races, dodgeball, kick the can)
🔥 Friday marshmallow roasts
Daily treats like popsicles and lollipops make the experience even sweeter!
