Looking for a unique, inclusive summer camp experience in the Triad area? The NC Therapeutic Riding Center’s Inclusive Summer Camp in Mebane offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for children ages 6–11 (and some ready 5-year-olds) to learn, grow, and have fun—together.
This half-day camp welcomes children with and without disabilities, creating a supportive environment where every child is valued and included. Set on a peaceful farm, campers spend their mornings surrounded by nature, friendly horses, and caring instructors.
Campers will:
- Learn horse care and horsemanship skills
- Build confidence, empathy, and independence
- Participate in hands-on farm activities
- Enjoy arts & crafts and creative play
- Explore the outdoors and cool off with fun water play (including a unicorn sprinkler!)
More than just a camp, this experience helps children develop life skills, friendships, and a sense of belonging—all while having an unforgettable summer adventure.
Camp Details:
- Time: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Week 1: June 22–26, 2026
- Week 2: July 13–17, 2026
- Week 3: July 27–31, 2026
Facilities include shaded outdoor areas and air-conditioned indoor spaces to keep campers safe and comfortable.
